Indoor tanning acrylics are made with a special polymer which allows 100% of the UVA and UVB light pass through a clear, plastic shield while being strong enough to hold the weight of the user. When ordering a replacement acrylic for a tanning bed or stand up booth, you must be very specific about the model number and date of manufacturer (see how to order an acrylic here) and sometimes measurements must be taken to ensure the proper size is ordered.
