Hi! As many of you know, there are mods that remove a) remove the ability to create factions or b) remove the allies/axis/comintern factions at the start of the game. I've been removing all the starting factions from the game about a week into playing hoi4, but I want to hear your opinion on hoi4 being more/less fun by removing the starting factions. It would be really helpful if you could provide benefits/negatives, or just whatever experience you had playing with/without starting factions & britain dragging the allies into a war with you. Thanks for the advice!

- Createfaction= 'factionname' creates a faction for your country called 'factionname'.
- My HATG All Factions Mod contains the 15 Mini Mods: aHATG1neutralstack.pack startpos Mod, unlocks ALL factions plus tweaks the starting armies/generals a bit - sry, it is just annoying to always get just the two 'options' of generals and then you just always have to change the general unit first, these 'Legatus' idiots or stuff!
- No you don't get my frustration. I'm playing a small nation in a mod and I don't want to go to war with Russia, China, and the Ottoman Empire for simply invading a small country in current day Germany just because they have the same ideology.
- Germany: Probably the easiest European nation to play as. There are quite a few “cheesy” strategies that you can utilize in order to become pretty powerful before 1939.
